Floor lamp made with wooden clips

This lamp is made with wooden clothes clips. Yes, those clips which we use for drying clothes! It makes a beautiful and soft shadow on the floor and on the walls when it's turned on. The light goes gently between the clips and makes a sensation of warm and blazing fireplace.

The shade is supplied with white cable and lamp holder.

Bulb not included.

Dimensions of the shade: 38 cm high x 30 cm wide.

My pulp lamps at Rehogar exhibition in Valencia!

Until the 24th of November you can see the exhibition Rehogar in the Botanic Garden. This is a collective exhibition organized by Makea group. You will find there all house made with recycled objects: chairs, table, lamps, carpets, clothes, pictures, sculptures, cushions and many many more!!!

I exhibited two series of lamps made froma paper pulp: one called the "Globe" which refers to the shape of the glowing planet, and the second one called "Calyx" - calyx of the flower in different stages of development.

Recycled kitchen shelf

This is a kitchen shelf which I recycled for my friend Gerrit.

Recycled chair Avanguardia

This is a chair of my flat mate and friend Annelies. It has a very nice design but the seat was destroyed, so I decided to change it a little bit by applying some old newspapers. One of the articles was about the firs strippers in Spain and I found it suitable for such an old chair :)

“Globe” paper pulp pendant lamp

Their structure - gray, porous, irregular symbolizes soil - dry and cracked. The material used for its creation - paper - is being destroyed, broken into tiny pieces, which, in hot temperature again links into a new, completely different entity. "Paper" can be later shaped in many different ways and in its final form brings an association with nature, its source. The Form of the lamp refers to the shape of the Earth. Its "nucleus" the source of light, brings it to life. When enabled, we'll see a glowing and full of light planet.

Lamp is in 100 % recycled and eco-friendly.

Supplied with red/blue/yellow textile cable (made by Merlotti).

Dimensions: 36 cm high x 40 cm wide.
